In oneââ¬â¢s life, there are a tremendous amount of decisions that have to be made, some that will affect them later on in life and some that wont. One particular decision that every American has to eventually deal with at least one time or another in their life. Is that whether they will serve in the military or not. I believe that any person that is given the distinguished label as an American should have to give back to the country that gives so much to them. If you think about it if everyone in the U.S. didnââ¬â¢t want to serve in the military because they were to worried about their own lives. Who would protect this great country of ours? Where would that leave the U.S.? The military whether its in the Army, Marines, Navy, or Air force is a great way to either start a meaningful career or its just a great stepping block onto another career. Where else can you get free housing, money for college, training that no one else can receive, and still get paid while your at it, not many jobs can offer that. In the service you get to visit places that you normally might not have been able to in your normal lives, including anywhere from Puerto Rico to Germany. To just add a little bit more to the pot of treats, after a certain number years of serving in the military you can also receive a pension. The training alone you receive in the military should make you want to sign up today. Where else can you get the chance to fly million dollar aircraft, drive a billion dollar boat, or even drive a million dollar tank, not many places. The money that is available in military is endless. There are signing bonuses, G.I. Bills, pensions and the list goes on. So if money is what you want, then military is the right track for you, but donââ¬â¢t let money be the only driving factor for joining the service that would be a mistake.
